2nd Day of 2010

So far 2010 is going great! It feels weird to type 2010 right? That will take some getting used to. I just hope they don't fire me at work for writing the wrong date on all of the paperwork... I am notorious for that!

Today turned into a family fiesta. My mom spent the day with the kids and I, while the husband worked. This gave me time to clean out our office area and wash & tuck away the humongous piles of laundry that were stashed around the house.

This was probably my biggest accomplishment of the day. I dare not put a before picture....

We baked cookies, brownies, cookies and MORE cookies. Mom was in a baking mood today.
My brother and sister made it in from Indiana and we ordered Domino's Pizza. Speaking of which, Domino's is suppose to have this "new pizza" Have you guys seen the commercial for this yet?



Sounds good right! We were sooo excited to try the newness that we stood in the kitchen in anticipation.

I hurriedly bit into my first slice...Let me be the first to tell you... nothing has changed. I am not a fan of Domino's but this really made me run back to Digiorno's! It actually smelled worse than before. Give it a go and let me know your opinion. Maybe our Domino's just sucks. My Dad did try to lighten the room full of disappointment by stating that he did taste a hint of garlic on the crust. Which I in turn told him not to even bother with.

Everyone went home except my Mom who decided to stay and watch Paranormal Activity with me. Opinion time once again. I enjoyed the movie, but was not scared. Maybe it was the fact that I knew it wasn't real from the get-go. Or that the first time I watched it I sat with the light on painting my nails. Either way, I wasn't that impressed with it. It had a slow moving plot and who wants to watch 2 people walk around their house for 2 hours. But like I said, just my opinion, check it out for yourself and let me know what you think!
